Please continue to check back for more updates.
If you, your child, or a member of your household has either been exposed or has tested positive for COVID-19, please follow the chart below. Rising Stars will need to be notified of any positive results so we can contact affected families.
A few reminders of Rising Stars policies and protocols:
- Everyone ages 6 and up must wear a mask while in the building
- It is strongly encouraged/recommended that students wear their mask whenever possible while in class
- All students and staff will have their temperatures checked upon entering the building
- All students and staff will sanitize or wash their hands after entering the building
- Parents are encouraged to drop their student off and pick them up at the end of class
- Lobby and viewing space is limited. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines of 6’ apart
- Only ONE parent/guardian is permitted per students. NO siblings
- Our coaches and staff thoroughly clean equipment after each class
- Highly touched surfaces are frequently sanitized (door knobs, vending machines, pens, etc)
- Our facility is cleaned each night, and we run large UV lights during the afternoon and overnight
If you’re sick, stay at home!
Here is a handy chart from the World Health Organization, CDC, and American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology that will help you determine what your symptoms are from.

As we transition to fall and winter with cooler weather, we will be making some changes to our protocols. These changes are made to continue keeping everyone safe, healthy, and out of the elements. Updates include what door gymnasts and parents are exiting out of, and the use of the coat room and cubbies. We will not be using the emergency exit door, just the main doors! Everyone age 6 and older entering and exiting the building must wear a mask or face covering. If you cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons we recommend not entering the building.
We will be using the main door for both the entrance and exit. We ask that parents and gymnasts use the left hand side when either entering or exiting (opposite of driving). This will eliminate the need to have gymnasts and coaches outside in the rain, snow, or cold weather. **Please be mindful of others entering and exiting, the fewer people crossing paths, the better.**
After having their temperatures taken, students will be able to hang their coats on a hook and put their shoes/boots on the floor underneath their coat, or use one of the cubbies. After storing their items, students will sanitize or wash their hands then find a spot on the floor to wait for their class to go in.
When class is over, students will go back into the coat room or lobby to collect their items. We ask that students leave their masks with their coats so they can wear it when they are in the lobby and entering or exiting the building.
All of the new protocols and safety measures we put in place this summer will stay the same: frequent hand washing/sanitizing, masks worn by coaches and parents, masks worn by gymnasts when entering and exiting the building, social distancing, sanitizing of equipment and surfaces, and use of the UV lights during the afternoon and overnight. Due to social distancing recommendations, the viewing area is limited and we are still only allowing one parent/guardian to stay and no siblings. Please rotate with other parents when it is full, so everyone can view their child’s practice.
We appreciate everyone’s support and willingness to follow our new safety measures!
***JO and Xcel Team gymnasts will leave coats and shoes in the locker room, but they will continue to bring their bags/backpacks with chalk, water bottle, etc. into the gym with them.
Rising Stars will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day. Have a fun and safe day off!
**Monday preschool and progressive students will receive an additional make-up. Make-ups can be scheduled through the front office
