Welcome back to Rising Stars Gymnastics Academy! We are excited to be open! We are taking the health and safety of our students, families, and staff very seriously. Here is what it will look like when your child is here for class.
Parents are encouraged to drop off their athlete at the door. If parents need to come in to pay, fill out forms, or stay and watch, they will need to follow our social distancing policy by staying at least 6 feet away from other parents and gymnasts. We ask that only one parent or guardian escort their child in; please do not bring siblings into the building.
If you are staying to watch practice, we do have limited viewing available upstairs. Spaces are marked on the floor to indicate the 6 foot social distancing requirement.
Students will enter the building using the front door where they will be greeted by a coach or staff member. Students will have their temperature taken using a touchless thermometer, wash their hands in one of our bathrooms using soap and water, and then they will be shown where to wait for class.
Students should come dressed and ready for class. We ask that all extra items be left at home and personal items kept to a minimum. Shoes and clothing will be left with parents at drop off.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle as our drinking fountains are not available at this time. We have a touchless water bottle filling station should they need to refill their water bottle. Water bottles will be placed on the table in the gym for use during class.
We ask that parents who are not staying for the duration of their child’s class limit the amount of time they are in the building during drop off.
During class, students will be kept at a 6’ distance from each other and coaches will remain socially distant, unless otherwise necessary, as is consistent with the teachings of gymnastics or NinjaZone.
In between events, coaches will ask students to wash or sanitize their hands.
After class, students will be asked to wash their hands before leaving the building. Students will be dismissed from class and a coach will lead them to the exit door on the side of the building to meet their parent/guardian for pick up.
For those parents/guardians who have stayed for the duration of practice, you will go down the side stairs and meet your child outside by the side exit door when their class has been dismissed. You will see an “EXIT” sign outside near where the door is, as well as orange cones designating parking spots specifically for pick up.
See you at the next practice!
